Why Intréis?

As our clients get to know us they learn quickly that we are a very different kind of company. We are. It's the team. It is our beliefs and what we stand for.  We’re all smiling and excited about what we’re doing as if we are part of a big secret mission and dying to share it. That's not too far from the truth. Every member of the Intréis team feels they are a part of something that’s much bigger than themselves, yet each individual feels empowered to make a difference. It's all about our clients, the work we do for them, advancing our craft & thought-leadership, and the comfort in knowing that all of my Intréis colleagues have my back and vice versa.

About me

I am a co-founder of Intréis and serve as the company's non-executive board chairman and head cheerleader. I am also a practicing CIO at Millward Brown, a WPP/Kantar company. I’ve dedicated my career to changing the perception of the corporate IT department in organizations, what amounts to rebuilding the brand identity of IT. Throughout my 20 years as a CIO at IBM/SPSS, GE Capital Rail Services and Comdisco, Inc., there is one thing that remains constant from my point of view: IT departments employ some of the smartest & most creative people in the company, yet there’s probably no other department in the company that suffers from a similar level of negative criticism. My goal in founding Intréis, is to help IT organizations look at technology management, service delivery, and risk management as an integrated set of disciplines, and in so doing, raise their game as high-performing service delivery teams and risk managers.
