Intréis Consultants are given a unique opportunity to learn how to grow, shape, and build a consulting firm. They must be team players with a primary focus on client delivery and project management. They are expected to analyze business processes, understand client objectives, define requirements, and then expertly deliver real solutions while managing client relationships and setting expectations.

Intréis consultants will be involved in providing objective advice, expertise and specialist skills with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth or improving the business performance of our clients. They will partner with Clients’ technology, regulatory affairs, and internal audit departments to review operational procedures and guidelines, and ensure that such procedures conform to leadership’s instructions, industry practices, and regulations.

  • Prepare proposals and presentations
  • Manage projects and programs
  • Manage client relationships
  • Conduct research, data collection, and analysis
  • Interview client’s employees, management team, and other stakeholders
  • Facilitate focus groups and workshops
  • Lead process definition, design, and implementation
  • Identify issues and form hypotheses
  • Formulate and implement recommendations and solutions
  • Lead and manage those within the team
  • Identify new engagement opportunities for Intréis
  • Contribute to Intréis blog and actively participate in social media marketing initiatives
  • Spend the majority of time at client sites
Expected Areas of Advisory Expertise:
  • IT service management (and ITSM platforms)
  • Service delivery and operations
  • Compliance and regulatory requirements with an emphasis on managing risks and improving performance
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with three or more years of technology, security and/or risk management, internal audit, business analysis, or professional services experience.
  • CISSP, GSEC, CISM, GIAC, and CISA preferred but not always required.
  • Strong project management skills (PMP is preferred)
  • Understanding of security/regulatory principles, policies, and industry best practices
  • Understanding of IT service management and service delivery principles, policies, and industry best practices (such as ITIL and COBIT)
  • Strong communication and technical assessment skills, particularly with project and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and technical personnel to further the goals of the engagement
  • Experience building client relationships and good active listener
  • Ability to translate directions into actionable plans that deliver engagements on time and within budget
  • Desire to learn new and different approaches
  • Experience writing (e.g. for a blog, publication, newspaper) and speaking in front of large groups
  • Strong written and verbal language skills
Training will be given to provide Consultants with the following knowledge:
  • Understanding of Intréis unique products, services, and methodology
  • Understanding of security/regulatory principles, policies, and industry best practices (if Consultant does not already have)
  • Obtain ITIL v3 Foundations Certification (if not already certified)
Supervisor & Location:

Intréis Consultants report to our Vice President of Professional Services. The team is located across the country. When not at client sites, Consultants will be able to work from home offices.
